“Linking Special Needs” is a continuously growing and expanding website. The provided
links are a beginning as “Linking Special Needs” is in its infancy stage. New links
will be added as programs and services are discovered and available. We welcome credible information

Counties, Specialty and Preschools. The special education contact numbers are
listed. The same is for the specialty schools listed. We would love to hear
of other schools in other communities.

A list of government, societies, foundations, and support programs are available
to assist you. Welcome to an area of North Carolina with superb medical
facilities, medical programs, strong sate and county funded government programs
just waiting to assist your needs. There are many private companies providing
assistance and durable medical equipment. The universities are hard at work
designing universal housing and this is a handicap accessible community. Linking
Special Needs is designed to listen to your needs, establish not only contact but
a meeting with the agency’s representative to address how to establish/re-establish
your needed support system along with helping you find your new home.
